While Lake Nantua is the best known, the region is home to other treasures.
Lake Genin, nicknamed "Little Canada," captivates with its wild charm. Lake Sylans, meanwhile, hides the remains of ancient icehouses. Further south, Lake Vouglans spreads its turquoise waters over 35 km, ideal for swimming or water sports. The more discreet Lake Coiselet offers peaceful panoramas.
